Mike Hannay is currently the head coach for Champions’ 2008 group for the Spring Program. Mike played Minor Hockey in the Kent Centre Minor Hockey Association and went on to play for the West Kent Midget “AAA” Athletics, Kent Centre Jr Bears and Moncton Labatt Ice. In addition to his involvement in Champions, Mike has a background in Education and Development, which is very beneficial with on ice instruction.

Brad Shepard is currently coaching the Fredericton PeeWee AAA Canadians forthe 2016/17 season. Brad played minor hockey in Fredericton NB before moving on and playing major junior hockey in North Bay Ontario for the North BayCentennials where he would later coach. He has also been actively involved with coaching in the minor hockey system since 2010.

Luc Labonté is currently an assistant/goalie coach for the Champions 2008 group. Luc grew up playing hockey in northern Ontario. He started coaching peewee hockey when he was in high school and has continually been involved in coaching. He was also involved in coaching football at the high school level, having been the Offensive Coordinator for L’Odyssée High school, defensive coordinator for Mathieu-Martin High School and defensive back coach at Riverview High. His real passion is hockey and hopes to pass this on to the players in the most positive and fun manner.
